Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - is a Canadian as well as an American artist and singer. More than 20 albums were released by her. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk or alternative rock. However, they also are influenced by hip-hop, jazz and punk. Ani diFranco was the first artist to establish her own record label in 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco was born on 23rd September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother is from Montreal as is her father, who is Italian descent. Ani's song, 32 Flavors, was composed by her, and performed by Ani. The song is from her 1995 album Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio album. The song was featured in the soundtrack of the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco apology was made in the year 2013 when it was revealed that she was scheduled to hold an event for three days at the site of a Louisiana ex-slave plantation. She cancelled it but many (including the author of this article) did not show any remorse. DiFranco issued a new apology a couple of days later than the initial. Though she's most well-known for her role as Little Folksinger. Her style includes a wide range of types. The collaborators she has with her vary from Pete Seeger and Chuck D to Prince. She is from New Orleans. Ani diFranco, and Kristen Ford are together. At 14, she began to write her own music. She performed them at bars and coffee shops throughout her teenage years. DiFranco began taking classes in Buffalo State College at age 16 following her graduation from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts.
